Shipping Policy
Chetney’s Cakes happily accepts shipping order on select products. Currently, we DO NOT ship custom cakes, cakes, or cupcakes. If you are seeking to order any of the products we do ship, we ask that you to place your order three (3) weeks prior to your event date to ensure your order is made and shipped with care.
For inquiries on products we can possibly ship, excluding a custom cake, cake or cupcakes contact our office directly.
Please note we only ship items on Monday’s, Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s. This allows for you the customer to receive your order within the 1 -3 days’ delivery timeframe.
Delivery estimations are determined by the courier; therefore, delivery is not guaranteed by Chetney’s Cakes. Your shipping date should not be taken into account as a day your order is in transit. We DO NOT ship to P.O. Boxes.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
All payments are non-refundable; Chetney's Cakes does not refund monies on any order. In the event of a cancellation, all monies paid minus cost of supplies spent on order will be given as a credit towards a future order.
Holiday Policy
In accordance to Federal Holiday’s, we DO NOT ship on the following Holiday’s: New Year’s Day, Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr., Washington’s Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
We DO NOT deliver on the Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr., Thanksgiving Eve, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve nor New Year's Day.
Payment Policy
In order to reserve a date, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the event date. However, this policy does not apply to shipping orders. Shipping orders must be paid in full once order is placed.
Rush Order Policy
Orders placed within 14 days of event date are considered rush orders. Payments must be in paid in full to reserve date.
Delivery
Delivery is available upon request. For customers requesting delivery; delivery and setup fees are determined by distance.
Terms & Conditions
1. For applicable orders, final payment must be received on the 14th day prior to event date or your contract is void; non-negotiable.
2. For applicable orders, rush orders must be paid within 24 hours of receipt of invoice. Should an invoice not be paid with 24 hours of receipt of invoice, invoice will be cancelled, reservation of event date will not be guaranteed and order will be subjected to a $75 rush order fee.
3.On the day of your event there must be someone available to receive cake upon delivery. We will not wait longer than 30 minutes at the location for you or your representative. The same policy applies for pick up orders. Orders placed for shipping will be subjected to the courier’s delivery policy.
4.Once delivery and setup are completed, we are not responsible for any damage to the cake. You are responsible for providing a secure and sturdy table. In addition to the appropriate environment for the cake, an optimal room temperature of 68 degrees or below.
5.If you elect to pick up and set up your cake, you are assuming all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves Chetney’s Cakes possession.
6.Should you need to cancel your order, any monies used on supplies for said order will be deducted from the deposit. The remaining balance will be given as a credit towards a future order and must be redeemed within 6 months of the issue date., no exceptions.
7. The following cannot be disputed with Chetney’s Cakes as means for a refund or credit, acts of God, wrong address, items delivered to someone out-of-town, arrival time on delivery date, problems not related to or caused by Chetney’s Cakes and failure to adhere to suggested handling instructions and/or terms & conditions.
8. By submitting invoice payment, you are acknowledging and agreeing to said terms and conditions.
